By far and away the most important part of implementing any project is ensuring that all parties that are involved and kept well informed as to what is happening, why it is happening and what the expected outcomes are.
This is especially important when things do not go exactly as planned, as they almost certainly will on any project. The secret of getting the correct final outcome however, is to balance these delays with contingencies, regroup, replan and communicate the revised programme to all concerned. If you have a good project plan you will succeed. You do have a clear project plan don’t you? Supervising Project meetings is a key..... One other thing about communication. It is a ‘two way’ thing! And it is our job on your behalf to make sure that you choose suppliers, or lead your chosen supplier in making sure that they behave themselves and act professionally in keeping you informed. We believe in making sure that you staff are involved and informed and will hold briefing sessions, make posters or other methods to keep them involved. |
